Choose your favorite semiprecious and crystal beads, grab a spool of 20-gauge Artistic Wire and get started! This set by Katie Hacker is wonderfully versatile. For an opera-length necklace, fasten the necklace and bracelet together.

Project Instructions

Step 1 Pass a head pin through: spacer, fire agate, melon, crystal.

Step 2 Make a wrapped loop to connect it to an ear wire.

Step 3 Cut a 2" length of Artistic Wire and coil it around the base of the ear wire.

Step 4 Repeat Steps 1-3 to make a matching earring.


Try this necklace in a black/white/red color scheme for the holidays, or create a monochromatic look with shades of red. When substituting beads, use sizes that are within 1-2mm of the recommended beads in the materials list.
