Haunted House Frame
Create a haunting piece of home décor for Halloween!

- Cricut Expression® Personal Electronic Cutter
- Cricut® Mini Monsters Cartridge
- Cardstock: Green, Light Purple, Dark Purple, Black, Black Patterned, White, Yellow Glitter
- Frame with 5-inch x 6½-inch opening
- Purple Rhinestones (7)
- Ribbon: Purple Sheer (½-yard), Black Sheer (10-inch), Green Sheer (10-inch)
- Paint: Black, Purple
- Ink Pad: Brown
- Candle or other wax
- Paper Trimmer
- Foam Squares
Paint frame with purple and let dry. Wax areas you want purple to show through. Sand and then paint frame with black. Sand lightly to expose purple.
Cut one 5½-inch x 7¼-inch block of dark purple cardstock. Tie purple ribbon into a bow around frame as shown. Tie black ribbon into a bow around purple bow as shown.
Cut haunted house: Using Mini Monsters cartridge and black cardstock, cut one 5¾-inch <HntdHse>. Repeat cut using light purple cardstock and Layer 1 feature. Repeat cut using dark purple cardstock and Layer 2 feature. Repeat cut using green cardstock and Base Shadow feature. Using yellow glitter cardstock, select Layer 1 feature, press Shift, and one 5¾-inch <HtdHse-s>. Using light purple cardstock, select Base Shadow feature and cut one 6-inch <HntdHse>. Use ink on green and light purple shadows. Cover roof with glitter. Layer together using foam squares and adhesive. Embellish railing with rhinestones. Adhere to dark purple block and place in frame.
Cut witch: Using green cardstock, cut one 3¼-inch <Wicked>. Repeat cut using black cardstock and Layer 1 feature. Repeat cut using black patterned cardstock. Repeat cut using white cardstock and Layer 2 feature. Repeat cut using dark purple cardstock and Base Shadow feature. Using dark purple cardstock, select Layer 1 feature, press Shift, and cut one 3¼-inch <Wicked-s>. Layer together. Hang from black and purple bows using green ribbon.
