Project Instructions

Remove the screw closure that is attached to the wrapped leather bracelet.

Measure the leather bracelet to fit your head size, overlapping the leather as necessary. Trim is needed so that there is approximately a ½" overlap.

Place a small amount of glue between the overlapped sections and allow to dry.

Use the Bead Landing™ bamboo cording to attach by wrapping the rhinestone cup chain to the leather. Wrap the cording to fall between rhinestones.

Tie off at the ends where they meet. Trim the excess rhinestone cup chain with wire cutters if necessary.

Make a braid of the suede cording, rhinestone cup chain and bamboo cording. Size to fit your head.

Use a small piece of wire to bind the loose ends tightly together.

Place the braid parallel to the leather and use bamboo cording to wrap over both sections at the joint. Make sure to cover all wire and overlapping sections for a clean finish.

Tie off the ends and feed the tail ends back through a few wraps with the cording threaded through a needle.

Feed a small jump ring through the cording at the joint.

Before closing the jump ring, attach one side of the magnetic closure.

Bundle the feathers, leftover chain and rhinestone cup chain onto a jump ring.

Before closing the jump ring attach the other side of the magnetic closure.

The bundle will be removable for styling as needed.
