Turn raw edge of the red fabric under 1/2" along one of the 42" sides, then press. Turn under again 1/2" and press.

Pin the fleece along the top of the finished edge of the red fabric. Stitch in place along the top and bottom of the fleece. This will be the bottom of the chair cover.

With right sides together, fold the rectangle in half, matching the white cuff, pin and stitch down the side.

Make a mark at the center top edge of the chair cover. Make a second mark 15" down on each side of the chair cover. Draw a line from the center mark to the side marks to create the point.

Stitch along the lines and trim away the excess fabric.

Turn the cover inside out and attach the pom pom to the point of the chair cover.
