Material List
- Wood Octagon Purse
- FolkArt Acrylic Paint- Metallic Antique Gold, Metallic Pure Gold, Licorice (LI) and Floating Medium (FM)
- Basic Brushes Set
- Spray Satin Lacquer
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Sand wooden purse box.
Step: 2
Basecoat entire wood box with Antique Gold. Let dry.
Step: 3
Double load #12 flat brush with Pure Gold and LI. Paint leaves and 5-petal blossoms, keeping LI side out. Refer to photo for placement.
Step: 4
Load #12 flat with FM and side load with LI. Paint shadows around leaves and flowers as shown.
Step: 5
Using Liner Brush, thin a little LI with water until Inky consistency. Paint flower centers and curlicues.
Step: 6
Refer to photo for placement.
Step: 7
Paint purse handle solid black. Let project dry.
Step: 8
Note: To add durability to your finished project, spray with several light coats of Lacquer.
