Project Instructions
Step: 1
Cut the top part of the apron off to desired length for the shorter apron. Cut off the ties at sides.
Step: 2
Fold the cut area to the back about 3 inches and secure with fabric glue.
Step: 3
Measure a piece of ribbon long enough to glue along top and have your ties at ends. Set aside.
Step: 4
Starting at one end, pleat the ribbon about 1-½ inches apart and attach to bottom of apron with sewing machine. It is easier if you pleat as you go sewing small area at a time.
Step: 5
Continue around apron securing at end.
Step: 6
Glue (or sew) ribbon to top of apron. Attach ties to apron with fabric glue (or sew if desired).
Step: 7
Cut hollies from green felt and stitch to apron as shown with green floss.
Step: 8
Attach buttons as berries with fabric glue (or sew if desired).
