  • STYROFOAMâ„¢ Brand Foam Balls, 6-inch, 3
  • Hydrangea Stems, Chocolate Brown, 12
  • Hydrangea Stems, Cream
  • Hydrangea Stems, Green
  • Floral Shears or Wire Cutters
  • Ruler
  • Low-Temp Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
  • Thick, White Craft Glue

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Trim hydrangea stems to 2-inch long. Group flowers by color.

Step: 2

Apply glue to stem ends and push into foam ball, completely covering surface.


These beautiful spheres can decorate sideboards, tables, mantels, book shelves and other nooks and crannies. Display individually or group several together. Keep in mind that the finished size can grow considerably, depending on the size of the flowers you use.
