- Aleene’s® Epoxy Putty Adhesive™
- Aleene’s® 7800 Adhesive™
- Wood frame
- Metal objects
- Rubber stamps (to create textured background designs)
- Acrylic paints
- Paintbrush
- Sand paper
- Foil or foam plate for palette
- Craft knife
Project Instructions
Make sure hands, work surface and frame are clean, dry and free of grease. Use sand paper to roughen areas of frame where you plan to adhere items.
Cut small pieces of epoxy with a craft knife. Mix thoroughly until color is uniform. (Adhesive will remain usable for 2 to 3 minutes.)
Mold the letters “A,” “R,” and “T” from mixed epoxy and press onto left side of frame.
Flatten pieces of mixed epoxy and press onto the top and bottom of frame. Press rubber stamps into epoxy to create textures. Let dry for one hour.
Paint frame and epoxy sculptures in various colors with acrylic paints. Let dry.
Glue metal objects to frame with Aleene's 7800 Adhesive™. Let dry.
