Step 1 Create card base from white cardstock. Cut to 5½"x8½". Create a 1/8" wide spine for the card, to accommodate the thickness of the honeycomb paper. Score at 4-3/16" and 4-5/16" and fold.
Step 2 Cut pink glitter paper to 4¼"x5½". Adhere pink stripe print measuring 4"x5¼" inches to the pink glitter cardstock.
Step 3 Cut the largest of the Scalloped Oval dies from the center of the ivory script print; emboss and sand.
Step 4 Cut the largest of the Classic Oval dies from the text sheet; emboss and sand.
Step 5 Assemble the die cut pieces and flowers on the card front as desired.
Step 6 Stamp bird on a piece of the ivory script; print and color with Prismacolor® pencils, blending with Gamsol®.
Step 7 Fussy cut bird and attach to card as shown.
Step 8 Layer a 4¼"x¾" piece of lace on the pink glitter cardstock and add a narrow strip of craft tape on top, wrapping the tails to the back.
Step 9 For fringed piece, run a piece of ¼" wide sticky tape down the back of pink stripe measuring 4"x¾". Snip almost to the center on each side of the strip, creating double-edged fringe.
Step 10 Cut the fringe in half and attach behind the glitter/lace/tape strip you just created. Attach to card.
Step 11 Cut three banners from coordinating papers, stamp "happy birthday" on one and tuck the tails behind the flowers. Add gems as desired.
Step 12 Cut ivory/rosebud sheet to 6"x5¼" for inside of card. Score the 6" side twice to create 1/8" gap; at 2-15/16" and 3-1/16". Fold and distress edges as desired. Attach panel to inside of card near the spine of the card.
Step 13 Distress the pink stripe on the outer edges and tuck under the ivory/rosebud pieces as shown and secure all edges.
Step 14 Add two pieces of narrow craft tape to each card edge as shown, trimming off any excess.
Step 15 Stamp bird image on a piece of the ivory script print and color with Prismacolor® pencils, blending with Gamsol®.
Step 16 Cut a 2" scalloped oval from the glittered cardstock (second smallest die) and attach to card with foam tape.
Step 17 Cut a 1½" classic oval from the ivory script print and stamp sentiment. Attach to glitter die with foam tape.
Step 18 Carefully cut apart the lace frame. Attach a longer length to the center of your card as shown.
Step 19 Stamp and cut the cupcake frosting from the pink HoneyPOP paper pad and the cake from the brown HoneyPOP pad.
Step 20 Attach honeycomb paper pieces to the center of your card with a glue stick. Line up the pieces with your score marks and the gap will allow for the thickness of the pieces.
Step 21 Shut your card and open for a dynamic HoneyPOP surprise!
Step 22 Carefully attach card front to complete your card.
