Size
40 x 48 in. (101.5 x 122 cm)  

Gauge
One Square = 8 in. (20.5 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

Square A (make 8)
With A, ch 25.

Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 24 sts.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. 

Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in. (20.5 cm) from beg.  Fasten off.  

Square B (make 8)
With B, ch 25.

Row 1 (RS): Hdc in 3rd ch from hook (beg ch counts as hdc) and in each ch across – 24 sts.

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), turn, hdc in each st across. Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in. (20.5 cm) from beg. Fasten off.  

Square C (make 7)
With C, ch 26.

Row 1 (RS): Dc in 4th ch from hook (beg ch counts as dc) and in each ch across – 24 sts.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, dc in each st. 

Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in. (20.5 cm) from beg.  Fasten off.  

Square D (make 7)
With D, ch 25.

Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch, rep from * across – 24 sts.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, dc in next sc, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc, rep from * across.

Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in. (20.5 cm) from beg.  Fasten off.  

Finishing
Note: Arrows on Assembly Diagram indicate direction of Squares; arrows point from Row 1 to final row of each Square. Follow Assembly Diagram to sew Squares into 5 strips of 6 Squares each. Seam strips together to make Afghan. Weave in ends.
