Step: 1

Use one 12-inch x 12-inch sheet of pink cardstock as layout base. Cut one 11¾-inch x 11¾-inch block of brown cardstock. Adhere to layout.

Step: 2

Cut two 6-inch x 4-inch blocks of striped cardstock. Cut two 5¾-inch x 4¾-inch blocks of floral patterned cardstock. Layer together using mounting squares. Adhere to layout as shown.

Step: 3

Cut butterfly. Using Walking in My Garden cartridge and striped cardstock, cut one 1½-inch <btfly3>. Repeat cut using pink cardstock and Shadow feature. Repeat cut using Blackout feature. Using green cardstock, press Shift and cut one 1½-inch <btfly3-s>. Adhere striped piece to shadow. Adhere blackout piece to striped piece, folding so wings stay up. Adhere green layers to blackout piece. Adhere butterfly to layout as shown.

Step: 4

Cut wheelbarrow. Using green paper, cut one 1¼-inch <whlbrw>. Using pink cardstock, press Shift and cut one 1¼-inch <whlbrw-s>. Layer flowers and green wheelbarrow to layout as shown.

Step: 5

Cut Kates Garden. Using Simply Sweet cartridge and light pink cardstock, cut 1½-inch letters to spell Kates Garden. Repeat cuts using green cardstock and Shadow feature. Layer and adhere to layout as shown.

Step: 6

Cut flowers. Using light pink cardstock, cut two 1-inch <flower>. Using light pink cardstock, select Shadow feature and cut one 1-inch <flower>. Using green cardstock, cut one 1-inch <flower>. Using green cardstock, select Shadow feature and cut two 1-inch <flower>. Layer and adhere to layout as shown.

Step: 7

Cut girl. Using A Child’s Year cartridge and light pink cardstock, cut one 3¾-inch <Garden3>. Repeat cut using pink cardstock and Shadow feature. Layer together. Adhere to layout as shown using mounting squares.
