Project Instructions
Necklace:
Pass a head pin through an 8mm bead, a rondelle, and the holes on one side of the Katiedids™ circle component.
Make a large wrapped loop and slip a brown shell loop inside it before wrapping it shut.
Cut a 5" piece of beading wire and pass it under the head pin in the circle component. String 18 red beads onto the wire inside the channel, crossing the wire ends inside a bead or two to complete the circle. (It should not be necessary to glue the beads in place but a small piece of BeadFix™ adhesive squares under one a couple of the beads will make it more secure.)
Pass a head pin through a 6mm dyed howlite bead, rondelle and the holes on one side of the brown shell loop. Make a wrapped loop.
Pass an eye pin through one end of a Katiedids™ rectangle component, two faceted red, crimp, 3mm dyed howlite, crimp, orange, crimp, dyed howlite, crimp, two faceted red, end of rectangle and make a basic loop.
Connect one end of the beaded rectangle component to the pendant. Cut three 6½" chains and attach them to the other end.
Use a jump ring to attach half of the clasp to the end of the necklace.
Repeat Steps last 3 steps to finish the other side of the necklace so it's symmetrical.
Earrings:
Cut two 1/4" and four 1" lengths of chain.
Pass an eye pin through one end of the Katiedids™ curve component, 10 dyed howlite beads, out the other end of the curve and make a basic loop.
Connect a 1" chain to each loop.
Pass a head pin through an 8mm aventurine, silver rondelle, faceted red and make a wrapped loop to connect it to a 1/4" length of chain.
String the last link on each chain onto a jump ring with the beaded dangle in the center. Attach the jump ring to an ear wire.
Repeat steps to make a matching earring.
Bracelet:
Pass an eye pin through the holes on one side of the Katiedids™ circle component, silver rondelle, 8mm aventurine, silver rondelle and out the other side of the component and make a basic loop.
Cut a 5" piece of beading wire and pass it under the pin in the circle component. String 18 red beads onto the wire inside the channel, crossing the wire ends inside a bead or two to complete the circle. Repeat for a matching component, then repeat using dyed howlite beads instead of red beads. (It should not be necessary to glue the beads in place but a small piece of BeadFix™ adhesive squares under one a couple of the beads will make it more secure.)
Connect three 4mm jump rings together to form a chain and attach it to the toggle bar. Connect the other end to a red-beaded circle.
Use two 8mm jump rings to connect the beaded circles and brown shell loops in a chain as shown.
Use two 10mm jump rings to attach the toggle ring to one end.
*It may be necessary to use a bead reamer to enlarge the holes on the 3mm and 4mm beads in this design so the beads will fit onto head pins, eye pins and doubled Beadalon® wire.
