Step: 1

Run elastic through hem of blue shirt sleeves to gather.

Step: 2

Cut top of tee shirt off just under armhole. The bottom of shirt will be your apron.

Step: 3

Fold top of apron under about 1 inch and glue along edge. Leave opening to thread elastic through to gather.

Step: 4

Run wavy line of red dimensional paint along bottom as shown, let dry.

Step: 5

Use fabric from sleeves to make straps, folding and gluing as needed for length.

Step: 6

Sew straps to apron using buttons to attach.

Step: 7

Cut 36 inch lengths of red yarn (75 pieces or so) lay flat on table and tie a piece of yarn around center.

Step: 8

Cut 6 inch lengths of yarn, tying in center to make bang pieces. Glue a strip of felt to center of hair where it is tied. Glue bangs to felt so they will hang from center.

Step: 9

Glue headband to felt in center, cover with another piece of felt if desired.

Step: 10

Tie ribbon around sides of yarn as seen in photo.
