Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth.
Cut off the collar, sleeves and bottom hemline of shirt as shown.
Wash shirt to remove sizing; do not dry.
Lay damp shirt on prepared work surface.
Wearing plastic gloves from dye box, add water to purple and black dye bottles, replace caps and shake thoroughly to mix. Squeeze out ¼ of the purple dye into sink. Mix ¼ of the black dye into the purple bottle to create a deeper shade of purple. Tip: The more black you add, the deeper the shade of purple you will achieve.
Squeeze dye all over shirt, covering all white areas.
Cover shirt with plastic tablecloth to keep damp and let set for six to eight hours (or longer for the most intense colors).
Rinse shirt in warm running water until runoff is clear, then wash separately in hottest water suitable for fabric with a small amount of laundry soap. Dry separately.
Using pattern provided (download below), enlarge silhouette image to desired size. Use pencil to trace image onto contact paper then use a craft knife to cut out center of design, leaving the outside edges intact to create stencil.
Peel contact paper backing off stencil and position stencil on center of shirt and press in place. Press along all edges to achieve a proper seal from paint seepage.
Squeeze puddles of Linen and Chocolate Soft Fabric Paint™ onto palette and blend together to create a deep beige color.
Use a large paintbrush to brush paint onto shirt within stencil. Let dry and add another coat if needed. Peel off stencil and let dry.
Cut a piece of ribbon and make bow. Cut another piece of ribbon the width of the neck on silhouette.
Use Fabric Fusion® to glue the small piece of ribbon to neck, then glue the bow in place as shown.
Apply a small amount of Liquid Fusion® to the back of the pendant and adhere to the middle of bow. Let dry completely.
