Project Instructions

Gauge: 11 sts and 16 rows = 4" in Lace Chevron stitch

 

Lace Chevron (multiple of 11 sts)

Row 1 (RS): *K2tog, k4, yo, k5; rep from *across.

Row 2, 4, 6 & 8: Knit.

Row 3: *K2tog, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, ssk; rep from * across.

Row 5: *K2tog, k2, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2, ssk; rep from * across.

Row 7: *K2tog, k1, (yo, k2tog) twice, (yo, k1) twice, ssk; rep from * across.

Row 9: *(K2tog, yo) 4 times, k1, yo, ssk; rep from * across.

Row 10: Knit.

Color sequence 30 rows:

Rows 1-20: Work rows 1-10 twice in A.

Rows 21-30: Work rows 1-10 once in B.

 

Blanket

Using circular needles and B, cast on 107 sts loosely. Knit 2 rows.

Begin Lace Chevron pattern, cutting yarn for each stripe.

Row 1: K4, work row 1 of Lace Chevron to last 4 sts, k4.

Continue working k4 for first and last four sts of every row and Lace Chevron on 99 center sts.

Work even until blanket measures 39", ending after 18 rows of A. Using B, work rows 19 & 20 of last repeat. Bind off loosely.


FINISHING

Weave in all ends.
