Tie the three strands together into a knot, leaving approximately 4" slack on the end.
Braid the leather strands until you reach the size of your wrist.
Tie a large knot at the end of the braiding.
Place a cording crimp on the end of a 10" piece of cording. Crimp the flaps closed with flat nose pliers.
Cut an 8" piece of medium size link chain with chain cutters.
Feed the leather cording through the links in the chain.
Tie the cording to the last link in the chain and add cording. Crimp to the end.
Repeat the for the second row of chain/suede cording.
Place the loops at the ends of the cording crimps onto the remaining lengths of the braided leather section.
At one end of the bracelet, tie a knot in all three strands to keep the chain in place, and make a knot to be used as part of the closure.
On the other end, fold two of the ends over to make a ¾" loop. Wrap the loose strand around all the others and tie tightly to hold the loop in place.
