‘Lil Duck Wall Peg
Baby décor has never been so easy! Paint a couple of our coordinated room accents to create a bright ‘n cozy duck themed nursery for baby.

- DecoArt Americana® Dura Clear Satin Varnish
- Plaid® ¼-inch Spouncer
- Loew Cornell® Chaco Paper
- Stylus
- Unfinished Wood Triple Peg Rack
- Sanding Sponge
- Clean Soft Cloth
Project Instructions
Sand wood, wipe with dry cloth. Seal wood with Dura Clear Satin varnish. Let dry thoroughly, then sand again. Wipe away sanding dust.
Basecoat entire peg hanger with Pistachio Mint. Let dry, then add a second coat of paint.
Paint the raised center rectangle of peg hanger and tips of pegs with Bahama Blue.
Shade inner and outer edge of Pistachio Mint border with Bahama Blue.
Using Chaco Paper and a stylus, transfer Duck pattern to area between pegs.
Paint ducks Cadmium Yellow and beaks Bright Orange.
Lightly shade edges of ducks and wing area with Bright Orange.
Thin Royal Fuchsia slightly with water, then dry brush cheek area on each duck.
Dot duck’s eye with Ebony Black. When dry, add a Snow White highlight dot to eye and to cheek.
Use small spouncer to dot background with Pistachio Mint.
Tips
Use a sponge “spouncer” to make quick and easy dots.
