Project Instructions

Step: 1

Gauge
13 sc and 14 rows = 4-inches [10cm].


Step: 2

NOTE: This bag is worked from one top to the other top, then stitches are picked up down each side of the work to make the handles and other two top sides. Once these stitches are picked up and the handles are made, the bag is completed. The top of this bag has 4 sides.

Row 1: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. 37 sc. Turn.

Rows 3 and 4: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 3 sc. *Ch 7. 1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Rep from * to last 3 sc. Ch 7.

1 sc in each of last 3 sc. Turn.

Next 3 rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row, join with sl st to first sc.

Fasten off at end of last row.

Rep for other side. Sew sides of each handle tog.
