INSTRUCTIONS
With A, ch 148.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 3 ch. Ch 1. Miss next 4 ch. 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to last 2 ch. Ch 3. (Yoh and draw up a loop in next ch. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – counts as cluster. Join B. Turn.
2nd row: With B, ch 1. 1 sc in top of cluster. *Ch 3. 3 dc in next ch-3 sp. Ch 1. Miss next sc, ch-1 and 2 dc. 1 sc in top of next dc. Rep from * to last ch-3 sp. Ch 3. Yoh and draw up a loop in next ch-3 sp. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook. Yoh and draw up a loop in last sc. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – end cluster made. Join A. Turn.
3rd row: With A, as 2nd row, joining C at end of row.
4th row: With C, as 2nd row, joining A at end of row.
5th row: With A, as 2nd row, joining D at end of row.
6th row: With D, as 2nd row, joining A at end of row.
7th row: With A, as 2nd row. Fasten off.
FRINGE
Cut 32 lengths of A and 8 lengths each of B, C and D into 15" (38 cm) pieces. Taking 4 strands of same color tog, fold in half and knot into fringe along each end of scarf, matching one knot to each coordinating color stripe. Trim fringe evenly.
