Shape Neck and Divide Fronts

Next row: Ch 12 (12-13). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each of next 9 (9-10) ch. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn. 34 (37-42) hdc.

Work 11 (11-13) rows even on these 34 (37-42) hdc for right front.

Step: 14

Next row: (WS). Ch 2. 1 hdc in each of next 21 (22-25) hdc. Place a marker on last st. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.

Step: 15

Cont even on last 21 (22-25) hdc until work from marker measures 6H (7-8) ins [16.5 (18-20.5) cm], ending with a WS row. Fasten off.

Step: 16

With RS facing, miss 19 (19-21) hdc at center back. Join MC with sl st to next hdc. Ch 12 (12-13). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each of next 9 (9-10) ch. 1 hdc in same sp as first sl st. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. 34 (37-42) hdc. Turn.

Step: 17

Work to correspond to right front, reversing all shapings.

Step: 18

Finishing: Sew side and sleeve seams.

Sleeve edging: 1st rnd: (RS). Join A with sl st at sleeve seam and work sc evenly around sleeve edge. Join with sl st to first sc.

Step: 20

2nd rnd: Ch 1. Working from left to right instead of right to left as usual, work 1 reverse sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Outer Edging
1st rnd: (RS). Join A with sl st at left side seam and work sc evenly around outer edge, working 3 sc in corners. Join with sl st to first sc.
