  • E beads (5 White, 2 Red)
  • Unfinished Wood Frame
  • 2 Coordinating Scrapbook Papers (stripes and words)
  • Acrylic Paint (Red, Turquoise)
  • Green Floral Wire
  • 2 Green Floral Leaves
  • Red Satin Ribbon (8-inches of 1/8-inch)
  • White Embroidery Floss (and large eye needle)
  • Small Red Rick Rack (4 inches)
  • Paper Adhesive of Choice
  • Small Flat Paintbrush
  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Wire Cutters
 

Project Instructions

Paint inside edge of frame turquoise. Paint outer edge of frame red. Let dry.
 

Top Flower: Bend a floral wire in half, into a U shape. String on 3 white E beads to the center of the U. Stringing both wires through both button holes, add solid red button, solid white button, patterned red button. Twist wires together behind large button. Continue twisting for 5-inches. Use wire cutters to trim off remaining wire.
 

Middle Flower: Bend a floral wire in half, into a U shape. String on 2 white E beads to the center of the U. Stringing both wires through both button holes, add small red and white button, solid red button and solid white button. Twist wires together behind large button. Continue twisting for 3-inches. Use wire cutters to trim off remaining wire.
 

Bottom Flower: Bend a floral wire in half, into a U shape. String on 2 red E beads to the center of the U. Stringing both wires through both button holes, add small red and white button. Twist wires together behind large button. Continue twisting for 2-inches. Use wire cutters to trim off remaining wire.
 

Small red buttons: Thread needle with white floss. Tie a knot in end of floss. Stitch X in buttonholes. Repeat twice more moving an inch down the floss each time. Leave a short tail. Trim excess floss.
 

Lay frame on striped paper. With pencil, trace inside and outside of frame. Cut out. Lay frame on words paper. Trace top half of frame. Cut out. Use paper adhesive to glue to front of frame as shown.
 

Cut rick-rack to width of frame at side. Glue across paper where the words paper ends. Repeat on other side of frame.
 

Tie red ribbon bow around bouquet of flowers, near the bottom of wires.

Hot glue flower bouquet to left side of frame as shown. Before it dries, stick leaves into hot glue behind middle button.
 

Glue small red buttons at bottom right of frame as shown.
