Lost Tooth Poster

Celebrate your student's lost teeth! You may want to laminate the tooth before putting on Velcro®. This way you can write the child's name on it for the day and erase it for the next child. This tooth is designed to let the child remove it from the sign when they loose a tooth and wear it during the day.

Project Instructions

Enlarge pattern of smile to the size you want. Make two copies. Use one for the lips and one for the teeth. Trace lip shape onto the red poster board. Cut out with an X-ACTO® knife.

Cut out teeth pattern and trace with a thin Sharpie® onto white poster board. Make sure to leave some gluing space all around the teeth. Place behind the lips.

Glue teeth to foam board and then the lips on top. Make sure to match up so the teeth look like they are positioned correctly.

Cut out a single front tooth. Write "I lost a tooth today!" on the tooth with Sharpie®.

Attach sticky-back Velcro® to the tooth and the matching front tooth on the poster.

Use stickers to add "Smile if you lost a tooth today" and position it around the lips.
