Step: 3

Using the letters for ALOHA, trace (connecting spaces in letters) onto striped paper and cut out.

Step: 4

Using colored card stock, cut out four 4½x5-inch pieces and one 4¾x5-inch (for letter H).

Step: 5

With Mod Podge, decoupage letters to cardstock pieces; let dry and recoat. Let dry.

Step: 6

Add 2 eyelets to top corner of each letter piece.

Step: 7

Remove silk flowers from flower sprigs and remove plastic centers; decoupage to letter cards; add rhinestones and give entire flower a second coat of Mod Podge.

Step: 8

Place the letter O in the middle of the banner and pull a piece of raffia up through each eyelet hole.

Step: 9

Place the letters L and H on the raffia banner, spacing about 1½-inches from the letter O and pull pieces of raffia up through the eyelets as you did with letter O; continue with letters A and A.

Step: 10

Tie each piece of raffia piece into a bow, connecting each letter.

Step: 11

Goodie Bags

Step: 12

Step: 14

Place a rhinestone in the middle of each flower and decoupage entire front of bag with a top coat; dry.

Step: 15

After adding goodies, fold top portion of bag (approx. 1-inch) toward the back and crease; punch two holes 1½-inches apart centered at top of bag (approx. ½-inch) from top crease.

Step: 16

Make tags by cutting pieces of pink paper or cardstock to 3¾x1¾-inches (this will be the back border piece). Cut top pieces using orange cardstock to 3½x1½-inches; glue together with a glue stick then decoupage entire tag to give a matching sparkle finish.

Step: 17

Write “LUAU” on tag and attach an eyelet on the top corner.

Step: 18

Feed 2 or 3 strands of raffia through the back of the bag into each hole then attach the tag and tie into a bow and trim raffia.
