Step: 1

In a well ventilated area, spray one coat of sealer onto all wood pieces and allow to dry at least 30 minutes.

Step: 2

Use sandpaper to sand all sealed wood surfaces.

Step: 3

Use paper towels to wipe away sandpaper dust.

Step: 4

Use foam brush to apply two coats of Fresh Foliage acrylic paint to front and back of all three large hearts allowing to dry between coats. Allow second coat to dry at least one hour.

Step: 5

Following photo for placement glue round circle to the back of where the three hearts meet at their bottom points to form a large “shamrock”. Allow to dry several hours..

Step: 6

Using pencil or chalk, lightly draw in letters.

Step: 7

Use liner brush to paint over letters with Bright Green acrylic paint. Use end of paint brush to apply dots to corners of letters and at ends of letter lines. Allow to dry one hour.

Step: 8

Using wide flat brush, dip into water and then dip one corner of the brush into Bright Green. Brush lightly on palette, then, following photo for placement, brush paint around outside edges of the large painted hearts. Allow to dry.

Step: 9

Place small hearts in groups of three in the form of a shamrock. Use glue to adhere sides and points together. Allow to dry several hours.

Step: 10

Use Bright Green paint to paint two coats of paint on each of 6 “shamrocks”. Allow to dry at least one hour.

Step: 11

Use end of paint brush to apply small paint dots of Fresh Foliage around the Bright Green shamrocks.

Step: 12

Following photo for placement, use glue to attach Bright Green shamrocks to each large heart.

Step: 13

Spray sealer onto entire piece and allow to dry.

Step: 14

Using all three colors of ribbon, tie a large shoestring bow with streamers. Use glue to attach where the three hearts meet.

Step: 15

Cut an 8” piece of Kelly Green ribbon. Form into a loop and glue to the back of the top heart at the top center. Allow to dry overnight.

Step: 16

Hang the finished piece and enjoy!
