Project Instructions

Step: 1

Place T-shirt on work surface and place Tulip® Fashion Form™ in between layers of shirt.

Step: 2

Using felt pen or pencil, draw a flower on contact paper, making sure to add a circle in center. Note: If desired, print a flower design from computer and trace onto contact paper. Place contact paper on a cutting mat and cut flower out with a craft knife. Cut out circle in center.

Step: 3

Remove backing from flower stencil and place in the center of the chest on T-shirt. Remove backing from circle cutout and place in center of flower.

Step: 4

Squeeze a puddle of Azalea Soft Fabric Paint™ onto foil. Dab sponge into paint, tap off excess and apply to area within stencil. Repeat as needed for full coverage, letting dry between coats. Let dry and remove stencil and circle piece.

Step: 5

Squeeze a puddle of Ebony onto foil. Using a Liner paintbrush, carefully paint Ebony in circle in middle of flower. Use same brush to outline flower with Ebony.

Step: 6

Squeeze out a small amount of Platinum Metallic onto foil and use Liner brush to freehand paint a spade in the center of the Ebony circle. Let dry.

Step: 7

Flip shirt over to back side. Cut out Block Alphabet Sticky Fabric Stencils™ to spell “FLOWER GIRL.” Arrange letters on the top center of the back, then remove backing and press onto shirt.

Step: 8

Dab sponge into Ebony paint, tap off excess and apply to shirt. Repeat as needed for full coverage, letting dry between coats. Let dry and remove stencil.

Let Soft Fabric Paint™ dry between coats for more opaque coverage.
