Project Instructions

Trace outline of eagle onto freezer paper.

Cut out eagle with craft knife to create stencil.

Position stencil on front of T-shirt and iron on, making sure edges are sealed.

Insert cardboard between layers of T-shirt to prevent paint seepage.

Pour puddle of Glacier White on palette and sponge in stencil, blending out paint toward lower part of neck.

Sponge a second coat of Glacier White on the head area to brighten. Let dry and remove stencil.

Trace eagle pattern on tracing paper. On the reverse side, use chalk to trace over eagle pattern. Turn over and lay tracing on center of T-shirt and retrace with pencil to transfer chalk lines. If desired, freehand details.

Paint beak with Sunshine Yellow, the first stripe with Crimson Red and the remaining with Royal Blue. Let the Blue fade into the black T-shirt.

On the painted Blue section, use the dimensional True Blue to make approximately six to eight rows of thick lines about 1/8" apart, following the scalloped lines. While paint is wet, run wide combing tool down in a slight curve. Let dry.

Paint star eye with Royal Blue. Outline with 3D True Blue Slick.

Draw nose on beak with black dimensional paint. Let dry.

On first application, use sparing amounts of paint on white base to give the faded appearance of eagle’s neck. Then brighten head only with a second coat.
