- Martha Stewart Crafts™ Rectangle Ornament Template, Small
- Scrapbook Paper, 6"x6"
- Martha Stewart Crafts™ Circle Hand Punch, 1/16"
- Craft Knife
- Brads, Small
- Stapler, Glue or Tape
- String
Project Instructions
Fold 6"x6" paper in half with the side you want visible facing out.
Open template and slide paper inside, with folded edge aligned against seam of template. Close template lid.
Slide craft knife in grooves, cutting from top to bottom. Remove paper.
Position paper so that slits are horizontal, and roll it up until edges meet.
Punch small holes in edges and fasten with brads, forming a tube. Alternatively, staple, glue, or tape edges together.
Holding the tube horizontally with an end in each hand, gently push toward center to create a bulge.
To hang, punch or cut small holes at top of lantern and pull string through, or attach a paper handle.
