Project Instructions

Daisy Butterfly Border Card

Create card base from green cardstock using paper trimmer, ruler and bone folder.

Cut a strip of light blue cardstock 2½"x12". Align one end of the strip with one of the small marks near the ridge of the Daisy Fan punch base. Punch along the edge of the strip. Flip paper over and repeat, starting with the same end of the strip as the first time, and aligning the end with the same mark on the punch. This ensures the second punched daisy edge is exactly opposite the first. The result is a chain of round daisies.

Center daisy chain on card and adhere with a fine-tip glue pen. Trim ends of strip even with left and right sides of card.

Adhere blue gemstones to centers of daisies.

With butterfly stamp and punch, stamp various butterfly images in blue ink on light blue paper.

Punch out butterflies and adhere to card with Foam Dots.

Fluttering Butterflies Card

Create card base from turquoise cardstock using paper trimmer, ruler and bone folder.

Cut a piece of green cardstock slightly smaller than the card front. Punch across the bottom with the double loops edge punch.

Cut a piece of cream cardstock slightly smaller than the green piece. Using the stamp and punch, stamp several pink, green and blue butterflies on the cream cardstock with all three stamps.

Adhere the stamped cream piece to the green. Tie a narrow blue and green ribbon around the bottom of the green piece and adhere to front of card.

Stamp pink, green and blue butterflies on additional cardstock. Heat emboss some of the butterflies using pigment ink, embossing powder and a heat tool. Accent some other butterflies with a fine-tip glue pen and then sprinkle with iridescent glitter.

Punch out butterflies. Punch a few butterflies from pink, green and blue cardstock, without stamping them.

Adhere the punched butterflies to the stamped cream piece using Foam Dots.

Deep edge punches allow you to create decorative strips or chains in a variety of shapes.
