Project Instructions

Step: 1

Cut a piece of cardboard to fit inside tote.

Step: 2

Take dog stencil from Sticky Fabric Stencil™ package and peel backing, removing all inside pieces. Position stencil on center of bag, then replace pieces for eyes and nose. Press a fingernail along inside cut edges to prevent seepage when applying paint.

Step: 3

Squeeze a small puddle of Royal Blue Soft Fabric Paint™ onto foil. Use scissors to cut wedge sponge in half lengthwise then in half again for a smaller sponge. Tap flat end of sponge into paint then tap off excess onto foil. Pounce paint into stencil, making sure not to go past outer edge of stencil. Add more paint to sponge as needed for an even coat. When filled in, carefully remove stencil plus eyes and nose - use pin to remove smaller pieces.

Step: 4

Use chalk to lightly write your dog’s name on tote, plus the word “Stuff” if desired.

Step: 5

Cut apart paw design and press each paw stencil on tote where desired. Squeeze a small puddle of Black 3D Fashion Paint™ onto foil then stencil into each design. Carefully peel off stencil then reposition for remaining paws.

Step: 6

Start flow of White Slick 3D Fashion Paint™ onto paper towel using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Trace over chalk lines with paint then add random dots on tote. Let dry.

Step: 7

Use Black Slick paint to add dots for eyes and nose. Let dry.

Step: 8

Follow label instructions for care of tote.

Tips

Use a damp cloth to remove chalk line after paint has thoroughly dried.
