Material List

  • Creatology™ Wood Birdhouse, Mini
  • Craft Smart® Acrylic Paint – Gloss White, Pale Blue and Bright Yellow
  • Paintbrush
  • Tape
 

Project Instructions

Step 1 Cover rope hanger with tape. Step 2 Paint white on fence and base. Step 3 Paint blue on house and chimney. Step 4 Paint yellow on roof and chimney. Step 5 Paint white around heart cutout and inside edge and let dry. Step 6 Paint yellow over white heart cutout. Step 7 After all colors have dried, remove tape from rope hanger.

Tips

Use Craft Smart™ 3-pc. Variety Brush Set: CS-217, with the three brushes for different purposes: the largest size to cover; the shader to get into the corners and edge; the small round to paint in the tight places. To remove the wood grain look, paint the entire birdhouse white first, then after it's dry, paint the colors over the white.
