Project Instructions
Violet Mini Cupcake with Green Fly:
Bake and cool cupcakes according to recipe.
Prepare buttercream icing according to recipe; tint portions violet, green, red and black.
Ice cupcake smooth with spatula and violet icing.
Use tip 8 and green icing to pipe body and head; smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.
Use tip 3 and black icing to pull-out black legs.
Use tip 2 and red icing to pipe eyes,
Use tip 101 and black icing to pipe pull-out wings.
*Combine Violet and Rose for violet shown.
*Combine Leaf Green and Lemon Yellow for green shown.
Violet Mini Cupcake with Brown Beetle:
Bake and cool cupcakes according to recipe.
Prepare buttercream icing according to recipe; tint portions violet, green and brown.
Ice cupcake smooth with spatula and violet icing.
Use tip 8 and brown icing to pipe body and head; smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch.
Use sharp knife to imprint lines on bug’s back.
Use tip 3 and brown icing to pipe pull-out legs.
Use tip 2 and green icing to pipe eyes.
