Project Instructions
Cut long rectangle of felt to 11" x 4".
Use Classic Scalloped Circles LG #7 (#1 is the smallest die template in the set) to make the scalloped flap by setting the die template with it half way off the mats. Place the end of the felt strip on top of the die template that is in the mat, and run through machine.
Fold purse so that the pouch is 4" x 4½". Glue sides together with fabric permanent adhesive. Hold to set.
Make a layered flower for the flap using both sets of die templates. Die cut various sizes of Standard Circles LG for the pouch area, adhere to purse with fabric permanent adhesive.
Die cut a small circle from Velcro, place Velcro together, then apply fabric adhesive to both sides of Velcro backing and adhere to purse (pouch area), then, close the flap. Apply pressure to set.
Tips
For the best results die cutting felt, use 100% wool felt.
Don't want to use adhesive? Sew the pouches and details with needle and thread.
