  • 6-Strand Embroidery Floss – Turquoise (24")
  • Leather Cuff – Dark Brown (8.6")
  • Scissors
  • Needle
  • Ruler (Optional)
  • Pen or Pencil (Optional)

Project Instructions

If the sliders do not fit over the cuff, use the ruler and a pen or pencil to mark the back of the leather so that it measures 5/8" wide. Use scissors to trim the leather.

Place two amber sliders over the leather cuff so that the teardrop shapes are at the top. Place two aqua sliders over the cuff so that the circle shapes are at the top.

Place one amber slider over the cuff so that the circle shape is at the top. Repeat last step.

Separate the embroidery floss into two three-strand pieces. Flip the leather cuff over so that the back is showing. Thread the needle with one three-strand piece of embroidery floss. Thread the needle through the first two loop of the first amber slider. Center the floss between the two loops.

Thread the needle through the adjacent loop on the right and the loop directly across on the left. Repeat 16 times, weaving the embroidery floss through all nine sliders, creating an "S" or zigzag pattern. Use a knot to add another three-strand piece of floss whenever you run out. When you reach the end of the cuff, weave the needle back through the loops you skipped until you reach the end. Use both ends of floss to form a knot. Trim ends.
