Project Instructions

Paint spool black, let dry. Paint gold.

Drill small hole in handle of spoon. Use alcohol ink to color spoon, then let dry.

Follow directions on clay and mold small face, let it dry, remove from mold, trim if needed. Paint gold.

Paint mixed media piece for neck black, let it dry, paint with antique gold, let dry.

Cover spool with strips of newspaper, antique with gold.

Screw hooks into top sides of spool.

Insert dowel into spool having level at bottom, leave 2" out of top, trim.

Glue jewelry neck piece over dowel, glue head into top of neck.

Screw eye hook into dowel at bottom of spool.

Cut pieces of chain to desired lengths and attach to eye hooks, and add desired jewelry piece.

Attach swivel clasp to eye hook at bottom of spool and add spoon.

Embellish as desired.

Add wire to sides of spool long enough for hanging.
