Project Instructions
Step 1 Base coat bird with Black FolkArt® Chalkboard Paint. When dry, sand lightly, remove dust and reapply chalkboard paint. Allow to dry.
Step 2 Condition chalkboard surface before writing by rubbing with chalk. Use moistened paper towel to remove chalk. Allow to dry.
Step 3 Cut papers to fit bird outline, tail and beak.
Step 4 Working one section at a time, use the tool kit ¾" flat brush to apply Mod Podge® Matte to the back of each cutout. Apply to plaque. Hold kit squeegee at a 45° angle and lightly pull toward you over wet papers using light pressure to remove air bubbles and excess Mod Podge®. Allow to dry.
