Project Instructions

Step 1 Lightly sand each block. Base coat all sides of each block with Soft Apple using ¾" flat brush. When dry, reapply.

Step 2 Cut photocopies into 2" squares and Mod Podge® Papers into 3¼" squares.

Step 3 Working one side of a block at a time, brush Mod Podge® Gloss on the block and the back of the Mod Podge® paper using a ¾" flat brush.

Step 4 Center the Mod Podge® paper square on the block and press in place. Cover with a piece of waxed paper. Press and drag the squeegee over the paper from the center out to remove excess Mod Podge® or air pockets. Remove waxed paper and repeat on all sides, all blocks.

Step 5 Use same techniques to adhere photocopies.

Step 6 Trace stencil letters D A D onto cardstock and cut out.

Step 7 Adhere D A D cutouts to top of each block using same Mod Podge® technique.

Step 8 Apply a 1-2 coats of Mod Podge® to all blocks, allowing to dry between coats.

Step 9 If desired, attach embellishments using craft glue.

Instead of cutting out letters D A D, stencil directly on the patterned paper.
