Project Instructions
Getting Started
Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include the Sculpey® Clay Mat, wax paper or disposable foil. Wash hands after use.
Step 1 Form a 2" ball of clay; flatten it using the acrylic roller. Sprinkle blue glitter from the Premo! Sculpey® Glitter Set onto the clay sheet (the amount depends on how glittery you want the clay to be). Continue to fold the clay and roll it out to disperse the glitter evenly throughout.
Step 2 Once you are satisfied with how much glitter is in the clay, roll out a sheet that is 1/8" thick. Lightly mist the texture sheet with water and firmly press the texture sheet into the clay. Remove the sheet to expose the texture.
Step 3 Use the snowflake cookie cutter to cut out the snowflake shape. Smooth any rough edges with your finger. Use the needle tool to make a hole at the top of the ornament for the ribbon to go through.
Step 4 While the clay is still wet, use your finger to spread the metallic powder over the raised texture of the snowflake. This will give the snowflake a nice sheen once the clay dries. Allow the clay to dry completely on a nonstick flat surface for 24 hours.
Step 5 Once the snowflake is completely dry, thread the ribbon through the hole and enjoy!
