  • Cricut Cake™ Personal Electronic Cutter with Cake Basics cartridge
  • Cricut Cake™ Elegant Cakes cartridge
  • 4-inch Circle Cake
  • Fondant: White
  • Gum paste: Black
  • Shortening for Mat
  • Royal Icing
  • Black Cord, 14-inches

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Cover cake with fondant.

Step: 2

Cut filigree. Using Elegant Cakes cartridge and black gum paste, cut one 3 ½-inch filigree. Freeze 10 minutes for easy handling.

Step: 3

Cut borders. Using black gum paste, cut two 1 ¼-inch borders. Freeze.

Step: 4

Cut monogram. Using black gum paste, select Font feature and cut one 1 ¼-inch letter of choice. Freeze.

Step: 5

Adhere cuts to cake using royal icing. Attach black cord around bottom of cake.
