Material List
- Favorite Findings⢠Buttons: Orange (Orange Burst, Green (Limeade), Purple (Berry Burst), White (Cloud White), Tiny Orange (Mini Primary)
- Coordinating Scrapbook Paper (solid black, 4 prints of choice in orange, purple, green, yellow)
- Embroidery Floss (black)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Paper Adhesive (of choice)
- Embroidery Needle
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue
- Computer and Printer
Project Instructions
Measure and cut 8-inch square orange print paper for background.
Trace and cut 4-inch circle from purple paper.
Glue in upper right corner of page.
Cut rectangle shape (monster head) out of black print paper.
Glue to solid black paper.
Trim, leaving 1/16-inch black outline.
Glue monster head to lower left area of page.
Cut a strip of orange paper for mouth.
Glue in place with tiny orange buttons at ends for mouth.
Trace and cut five circles of 1-1/8-inches, 1-7/8-inches, 2-½-inches, 1-3/8-inches from green and yellow papers.
Trace and cut slightly small circles of party photos.
Glue photos on circles, glue to page.
Thread 4 white buttons with black floss.
Thread from front to back through both buttonholes.
Thread one end of floss back to front through opposite buttonhole.
Tie floss ends together at edge of buttons.
Leave thread long for hair.
Glue at top of monster face.
Glue a medium orange button on a large purple button.
Glue a medium orange button on a large green button.
Trace and cut slightly small circles of party photos.
Glue to top of orange buttons.
Glue button stacks to monster head for eyes.
On computer, print “party pix” on white paper.
Trace and cut a circle around words.
Glue photo to a large green button.
Glue button in center of purple circle. Print “Halloween” on white paper.
Cut individual letters out.
Glue along top of page.
