Look of Mosaic with Eggshells

- Acrylic Paint
- Paper Towels
- Craft Stick
- Alcohol Inks
- Aleene's® Clear Gel Glue
- Jewelry Bail
- Aleene's® Jewelry and Metal Glue
To prepare eggshells, soak overnight in solution of water with a small amount of bleach. Remove membrane from inside eggshells. Pat dry with paper towel.
Base coat wood pieces. Let dry.
Cut tacky sheets to desired shape to cover wood shape.
Remove top liner paper from sheet. Place adhesive side down onto wood.
Remove bottom liner paper from sheet to reveal adhesive.
Crack eggshells into desired sizes. Press firmly onto adhesive. Fill in any open spaces with eggshell pieces.
Place liner paper over eggshells and rub with craft stick for firm hold and to add more crackled effect to eggshells.
Squeeze alcohol inks over eggshells. If desired, dab back color with paper towel. Let ink dry.
For a protective coating, apply glue over entire top surface. Let dry.
Glue jewelry bail to back of piece.
