Scatter newspaper to cover work surface. Place craft box and lid on separate pieces of newspaper on top of covered area. Use these individual pieces to help rotate the craft box and lid while spraying. This is especially useful if you re unable to get around your work surface.
Spray interiors and exteriors of both craft box and lid with Krylon Short Cuts Paint - Chrome (SCS-032).
Set aside lid and let dry.
Expose an unused roll of film by pulling the film out of it’s canister. Bend film around top edge of star shaped craft box and crease film around corners.
Remove filmstrip from craft box. Expand onto work surface and spray one side with Easy Tack Repositionable Adhesive (7020). Re-wrap film strip around top edge of star-shaped box leaving about ½ inch exposed at the top. Press down firmly.
Place star-shaped box upside-down on work surface and spray exterior with Krylon Interior/Exterior Flat Black (51602). When spraying near the film strip, try to spray from a perpendicular direction so as to reduce underspray. Let dry.
Carefully remove filmstrip. Clean up using Krylon Leafing Pen - Silver (9902).
Spray entire project with Krylon Matte Finish (1311). Let dry.
Add mini cards and envelops inside box so your guests can cast their votes! Accesorize with Hollywood candy tin, “Admit One” tickets and loose rolls of film. Don’t forget the movies!
