Project Instructions

Using a piercing tool, create a hole in the bottom of dress form to fit a dowel rod.

Paint dress form. Let dry.

Using the template, trace and cut bodice, back top and bottom pieces from (Red Stripe). Set aside template.

Cut lines in bodice. This will help the bodice to fit around the shape of dress form. Overlap and adhere to form.

Adhere back top and bottom pieces to form.

Using the template, trace and cut top of bodice and straps from (Blue Dots). Set aside template.

Adhere top of bodice trimming and straps to dress.

Enlarge skirt pattern to fit 12"x12" page. Cut three pieces from (Red Dot).

Score every other dotted line on one side of paper. Flip paper over and score every other line. Fold into pleats.

Adhere three skirt pieces to dress form.

Cut a 8"x36" piece of tulle. Run top edge of tulle through a sewing machine to create gathered piece of tulle. Sew ends together to form a tulle slip and adhere under skirt.

Using the template, trace apron from (Dot Circles). Cut embellishments and scallops from (Navy) and adhere to apron.

Adhere apron to dress.

Adhere ribbon as a sash and tie in the back.

Insert dowel rod through the center of dress form and the other end into the stand.

String beads to create necklace.
