Project Instructions

Heat the wood burning tool and carefully burn a design onto both sides of the bamboo black tiles.

Thread a spacer bead onto the eye pin and thread the eye pin through one of the holes in one of the bamboo tiles. Place another spacer bead onto the end of the eye pin.

Bend the eye pin at a 90° angle. Trim to ¼" with wire cutters.

Grasp the end of the eye pin with round nose pliers and begin rolling the wire to form a loop.

Cut two lengths of stringing cording approximately 30" long. Feed half of the cording through one end of the eye pin. Tie a knot.

Add beads and spacer beads to make the desired length and tie a knot after each bead.

Repeat for the opposite side of the necklace.

Cut a long length of stringing cording.

Feed the cording, horizontally through the second set of holed of the bamboo tile. Bring the cording around the side and to the center and tie a knot.

Add a spacer bead to each length of cording remaining and feed each end of the cording through the hole in the second Bamboo tile. This tile will be perpendicular to the first tile.

Tie a knot where the cording comes out of the tile. Add spacer beads to the cording ends and tie small knots to keep them in place.

Add a couple more short lengths of cording to give fullness to the tassel end.

To make the closure of the necklace, attach a bead to one end of the cording.

To the other end make a loop knot. The loop will fit over the bead for the closure

Tips

Wood burning tool is very hot, use with caution.
