North America: Clothespin Moose

Step 1 Paint both sides of two clothespins all in brown. Paint only the top half (will be the head) of the third one.
Step 2 Use a darker shade of brown and paint the bottom of the pins for the hoofs (two per pin) and the top of the third pin for the muzzle. Let dry.
Step 3 Glue the two brown clothespins together for the body and glue the head in the opposite direction, with the antlers facing up. Use image as a guide.
Step 4 Glue two wiggle eyes on the head. With a marker, draw eyebrows and two nostrils on the muzzle.
Step 5 Cut out two little teardrop-shaped ears in brown felt and glue on to the moose’s face.
Step 6 Optional: Finish by gluing a white pom pom to the back of the moose as a tail!
