Wash T-shirt without fabric softener. Do not dry.
Cover flat work surface with plastic table cover.
Lay damp T-shirt onto covered work surface.
Using your fingertips, pinch T-shirt where you would like the bull's-eye to start and pull fabric up. Begin rubber banding about 2"-3" down. Repeat, evenly spacing rubber bands, until you reach the bottom of your shirt.
Wearing protective gloves, mix orange dye as directed. Apply dye to T-shirt. Let set six to eight hours. Rinse, wash and dry according to package instructions.
Trace stencil onto freezer paper and cut out with craft knife to create stencil.
Place stencil on T-shirt and iron in place.
Insert shirt board or cardboard inside shirt.
Squeeze Sunshine Yellow onto palette.
Dip craft sponge into Sunshine Yellow and apply inside stencil openings. Let dry.
Using black dimensional paint, freehand an outline of flower. Let dry.
Fill in flower with Poppin’ Purple paint. Let dry.
Trace entire chick with black dimensional paint. Use black to paint eyes with eyelashes.
Fill in feet, beak and center of flower with orange dimensional paint.
