Snowman Easel Card
Cut two pieces of red cardstock, one 4¼"x8½" and the other piece 4¼" square. Cut a piece of white cardstock 4" square and a strip 2"x4".
Score the longer piece of red cardstock at 4¼" from one end and also at 6-3/8", going across the strip. The first score line will be a valley fold and the second a mountain fold. This top portion beyond the 6 3/8" fold will be the base on which the square pieces will be attached.
Decorate the white square by stamping the snowman in black ink, slightly off center to the left. Stamp the image again on an additional piece of red cardstock.
Cut out the hat and scarf from the snowman stamped on red cardstock. Use adhesive dots to attach the red stamped pieces to the original white snowman.
Use light blue ink to stamp three snowflakes in the background of the white square, around the snowman.
Mount the top half of the white snowman square on the top portion of the red strip (scored above 6-3/8"), adhering so that the corners are even with each other. This should fold down to form flat card or stand up to form easel.
On the smaller strip of white cardstock, stamp "Merry Christmas" using clear stamp mounted on acrylic block with black ink along the bottom edge of the 2"x4" strip of white cardstock. Stamp a light blue snowflake near the Merry Christmas.
Use edger punch to create a border above "Merry Christmas."
Adhere the white strip along the bottom edge of the red cardstock strip. The punched edge should help to support the easel card. Add glitter to the snowflakes if desired.
Snow Cold Card
Cut two pieces of white cardstock, one 5½"x 8½" and the other piece 4x5¼". Cut a piece of glitter paper or cardstock to 4"x5¼".
Fold the larger piece of white cardstock in half to form an A2 sized card. On the smaller piece of white cardstock, use an ink that matches your blue cardstock to stamp one of the “characters” from the stamp set in the lower left hand corner. Stamp a sentiment in the lower right hand corner of the white cardstock piece.
Tear the white cardstock piece above the stamped character and sentiment. Layer the piece that was torn off behind the stamped portion to create the look of layers of snow, matching up the edges. Secure together with adhesive.
Adhere the torn and stamped piece to the glitter paper.
Create an overall background pattern on the front of the A2 card using the blue ink and the snowflake stamp. Go ahead and stamp your A2 sized envelope if desired. Stamp a sentiment inside the card if desired.
Adhere glitter paper with stamped and torn piece to center of card front. Embellish with ribbon or brads as desired.
