Material List

  • Hampton Art Rubber Stamps: Post Script Calendar, Who Loves You
  • Clearsnap Ink Pad: ColorBox Black
  • Recollections Brads
  • Cardstock: Black, Red, Yellow, Royal Blue
  • Foam Tape
  • Circle Punch
  • Scissors
  • Paper Trimmer (optional)
  • Photo of choice (5-inch x 7-inch)

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Adhere trimmed royal blue cardstock to an 8½-inch x 11-inch piece of black cardstock so that a small border of black shows. This will be the page base.

Step: 2

Mount photo on black and then red cardstock. Adhere to left center of page base.

Step: 3

Stamp calendar image with black ink on trimmed blue cardstock. Stamp month and date images with black ink on yellow cardstock. Circle punch the date. Trim the month and mount on red cardstock. Adhere as shown.

Step: 4

Stamp three owl images from red cardstock using black ink pad. Trim each closely and adhere as shown.

Step: 5

Stamp three hat images with black ink on yellow cardstock. Trim closely and adhere at top of each owl image.

Step: 6

Use black ink to stamp “Who’s having a birthday” on yellow cardstock, side-by-side, three times. Repeat. Trim each and mount on red and black cardstock. Adhere above and below photo.

Step: 7

Set mini black brads in stamped owl’s eyes. Set small black brads at the right end of the photo as shown.


Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.

You can use a calendar image to spotlight a date on your scrapbook pages.
