You can find the plastic lacing in the Kids Department of your local Michaels. Everything else can be found in the Jewelry Department.
Choose 2 matching findings for your earring base.
Cut two lengths of the lacing for stitching, length depending on how long you want your earrings to be.
Wrap the lacing around your finger three times.
Start to weave the second piece of lacing under and over.
Then go back in the other direction.
Once you have stitches made in both directions start to pull it tight.
This is your first stitch.
Keep up the pattern to make your stitches.
Once you have a few stitches made, attach your finding.
Continue to add stitches for the length of your desired earring.
Once it's reached the desired length, attach the other side of the lacing to the finding.
Secure a knot.
Attach the jump ring so that it is in the center of the lanyard section and continue the stitch.
Secure to opposite end of finding and an ear wire to the jump ring to finish off.
