Bake one 8-inch square cake using Duff’s 8-inch square pan. Let cool completely.

Carefully slice top off cake so you have a uniformly smooth top. Tip: place a 1-inch square dowel at least 8-inches long on two opposite sides of cake. Use dowels as guides for knife as you slowly slice off top.

Flip cake over and slice off bottom of cake in the same way. This will give your cake the perfect white bread appearance. Slice cake in half keeping top and bottom together.

Cut cake on the diagonal from corner to corner. This will give your four triangular pieces of cake.

Heat of the peanut butter to make it easier to spread. This way you’ll avoid tearing cake. Apply peanut butter and jelly on one side of the triangles. Place another triangle on top to create a half sandwich. Repeat with the remaining two triangular pieces of cake.
