Cut two chili pepper shapes from the compressed sponge. Cut one chili pepper stem from compressed sponge.
Dip the sponge shapes in water to expand them. Squeeze out the excess moisture, then blot the sponge shapes on a paper towel.
Apply a puddle of Red fabric paint to a paper plate. Apply a puddle of Brown fabric paint on the same plate.
Dip a sponge shape into Red fabric paint, making sure the entire bottom of the sponge shape is loaded with paint. Dip one edge of the sponge shape into Brown fabric paint.
Press the shape once onto the paper plate to blend the paint, then lightly press the chili pepper sponge onto the shirt.
Reload the chili pepper sponge with Red and Brown paint, then repeat procedure to sponge another chili pepper on the shirt.
Continue sponging chili peppers on the shirt, using both shapes to create left and right facing peppers. Let dry.
Dip the chili pepper stem into Green fabric paint. Sponge a stem on each of the chili peppers. Let dry.
Cut tiny triangle, rectangle and square confetti shapes from the compressed sponge.
Expand the sponge shapes with water, then blot dry. Stamp Yellow triangle, Turquoise rectangle and Lime Green square confetti shapes randomly on the shirt.
Let fabric paint dry thoroughly. Follow manufacturer's instructions to heat set the fabric paint and for laundering.
